We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to play a critical role in ensuring our risk management, governance, and internal control systems are robust and effective. This is an exciting opportunity to work across all facets of our business, from dealership operations to group-level strategy.
About the Role
As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will:
-Lead the development and execution of internal audits, including planning, detailed procedures, and testing in line with regulations.
-Conduct financial, IT, operational, compliance, and dealership audits, identifying opportunities for efficiency.
-Facilitate internal control audits based on scope and risk assessments.
-Perform SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) reporting and ensure compliance with global standards.
-Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business processes and financial reporting risks.
-Report audit results and recommend control enhancements and process improvements.
-Collaborate with the Financial Controller to proactively identify issues and drive quality improvements.
-Maintain positive relationships with external auditors for annual audit and compliance.
-Produce management reports and attend relevant meetings.
-Champion workplace safety and uphold O’Connors’ Core Values.
