Due to internal promotion and expansion at O’Connors, our Shepparton dealership currently has a fantastic opportunity available to join the team in a Parts Manager role.
In this business management position, you will grow and develop the parts department with a special focus on retail parts sales. You will achieve growth and profitability in the retail area of the department ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction is always delivered.
The Parts Manager will participate in the business planning process for the department, including budgets, forecasts, marketing strategies and resource management.
Creating and maintaining relationships with both new and existing clients as well as having the ability to sell our products, market the department and further grow the parts department are all integral parts of this role.
People management and leadership ability is also essential with the Parts Manager being responsible for the people management processes, training, team development and instilling a culture of continuous improvement.
The skills required for this position include:
– Proven retail sales ability with the skills to identify and realise new opportunities
– Leadership and people management skills
– Strong commercial abilities accompanied by the financial discipline to oversee the efficient and profitable operation of the department
